About

 Andrea Pellicone is a multi-instrumentalist musician, composer and singer born and living in Genova (Italy). He began playing drums at the age of 13 taking his firts lessons from the well-known master Orazio Chiappino. In adolescence he began to approach the guitar and, about ten years later, the piano.
In the last 15 years he has deepened his study of armony, composing, guitar, keyboards and synths and collaborated with the members of the post rock band Oceans on the Moon, recording the drum parts of the soundtrack of the award-winning international feature film "Star up a war "by Sara Reginella director and recording the album" Oceans on the Moon II " (Universal Music).
He organizes and directs some jazz ensemble music workshops at the Oceanic Studio cultural association in Genova and has collaborated since 2000 in jazz music with various Italian artists, including Antonio Capone Big Jazz Band and Filippo Cosentino.
Until 2016 he performed live as a multi-instrumentalist with the tribute to Fabrizio De Andrè "Le Nuvole Tributo a Fabrizio De Andrè" which he founded. 
In his solo project, Andrea Pellicone Van Gogh Project, he recorded 2 albums, "Crixstrix Suite" (New Model Label) and "Something you should know" (New Model Label / Dogma Metatron) as a multi-instrumentalist and produced the videoclip "Anime Salve" (MB Studio), interpretation of the famous Italian song by Fabrizio De Andrè and Ivano Fossati, in collaboration with the singer, musician and composer Umberto De Cicco.
On 8 February 2021, the live video clip "Back Home" from the album Crixstrix Suite was released, with which he participated in the 12-hour music marathon organised by Amnesty International, M.E.I. and "Voices for Freedom" to demand the release of political prisoner Patrick Zaki.
In 2022 Andrea joined Endless Coma as bassist.

Andrea Pellicone, nato a Genova e vivente a Genova,  inizia a suonare la batteria all'età di 13 anni prendendo le prime lezioni dal noto maestro Orazio Chiappino. Nell'adolescenza inizia ad avvicinarsi alla chitarra e, una decina di anni dopo, al pianoforte.
Nell'ultimo decennio ha approfondito molto lo studio dell'armonia, della composizione, della chitarra, delle tastiere e synth ed ha collaborato con i membri della post rock band Oceans on the Moon, con cui ha registrato le parti di batteria della colonna sonora del pluripremiato lungometraggio internazionale "Star up a war" di Sara Reginella e l'album "Oceans on the Moon II" (Universal Music). 
Organizza e dirige alcuni laboratori di musica d'insieme jazz presso l'associazione culturale Oceanic Studio ed ha collaborato dal 2000 in ambito jazz con diversi artisti, tra cui  Antonio Capone Big Jazz Band e Filippo Cosentino.
Fino al 2016 si è esibito dal vivo come polistrumentista con il tributo a Fabrizio De Andrè "Le Nuvole Tributo a Fabrizio De Andrè" da lui fondato.
Nel suo progetto solista, Andrea Pellicone Van Gogh Project, ha registrato 2 album, "Crixstrix Suite" (New Model Label) e "Something you should know" (New Model Label /Dogma Metatron)  come polistrumentista e prodotto il videoclip "Anime Salve" (MB Studio), interpretazione della canzone di Fabrizio De Andrè e Ivano Fossati,  in collaborazione con il musicista compositore Umberto De Cicco.
L'8 Febbraio 2021 è uscito il videoclip dal vivo "Back Home", dall'album Crixstrix Suite,  con il quale ha partecipato alla maratona musicale di 12 ore organizzata da Amnesty International, M.E.I. e "Voci per la Libertà" per la richiesta di liberazione del prigioniero politico Patrick Zaki.  
Nel 2022 Andrea si è unito agli Endless Coma come bassista.
